Exclusive Eataly Tasting & Tour

We will spend the afternoon exploring the undiscovered, uber-cool area of Ostiense (my former neighborhood). I've put together an interesting mix of authentic activities so you can get a real sense of the neighborhood and feel like one of the locals.

 

We'll begin with an insiders tour and exclusive wine tasting and food pairing at Eataly - completely customized for us. I've also factored in some time for you to browse around this massive, mecca of supermarkets before we head over to our last and final stop -

a second-generation, family-run enoteca, loved by locals. This 90-minute degustation explores the 3 different Italian regions of Lazio, Tuscany, and Piedmont with one of the most gracious and passionate sommeliers in Rome. Tasting includes 3 wines (a prosecco, white and a red) paired with some light finger food. Everything prepared according to the local traditions and only using fresh and seasonal products.

Also included is a brief tour of the underground wine cellar.

Our evening ends with a little walk and some gelato at one of the places in Rome.
